Various Live Performances

Sloan Simpson has been to a lot of shows since last August. Most of which he has seemingly recorded in amazing quality under the 'Southern Shelter' moniker. On his blog one can find even FLAC quality files of recordings anywhere from a set by the crazed Daniel Johnston, to the Black Lips and most recently, Atlas Sound.

Atlas Sound are the first to admit they haven't fully worked out their live set, but given their upcoming show in Portland, I thought you all might like to get an idea of how it sounds. Plus, as part of Atlas Sound founder Bradford Cox's backing band is Portland's own Adam Forkner (White Rainbow, Yume Bitsu, Surface of Eceon and World) so there's a reason not only to listen now, but also when they play Holocene on 3/7 W/ Valet & White rainbow.
