"From the post-industrial wastelands of the Midwestern U.S. comes a gang of dues-paying producers and dj's. Jeekoos, Searchl1te, Cringer, and FSTZ have colluded on a project that will give voice to the sickness bubbling beneath the streets, howling through the empty trainyards, bouncing between crumbling bricks. Dubfront Records is a full-service sanctuary for outlaw beats. The cuts on www.DubfrontRecords.com are currently being rocked by your friendly neighborhood dj in clubs, at parties, and on the radio. The site will be updated frequently with new pieces available for preview and 320k mp3 download. It is our intention to meet like-minded folks from around the world through Dubfront Records. We plan to make digital and vinyl releases on the Dubfront imprint. Wherever you are, contact us if you'd like to share your bangers or get involved...

Dubfront Records
Puttin' it out cuz we got to. "

I love the way they acknowledge themselves as being "dues-paying". I talk a lot about not knowing where grime & dubstep is going, but I'm pretty sure Dubfront Records is taking steps in the right direction. For a while there it was cool to name drop dubstep star 'Burial', but after the uproar... isn't it kinda like buying a $36 ticket to Death Cab? Well... not quite, but it's certainly not fair to single him out when there are a number of producers just as committed: DubFront Records.

There's a high potential you may regret not hearing this.
