Breakbeat

It's funny when people make fun of dance music and my never ending obsession. My come back question is always- "What your favorite bar?" After a few seconds of confused silence (here in PDX) the usual answer is The Tube. I rarely need to be the one to point out that the Tube has been playing dance music five days a week for the last few years.

None the less break beat is a bit of a step for hipsters. Genres are confusing past "techno" and "dirty electro".
If you are going to listen to breakbeat listen to The Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts or The Freestylers.
