Portland Special

Dazed Digital is just wrapping up two weeks of features about Portland which includes this here mix by E*Rock and DJ 1996 Olympixx. I'm pretty stoked on it for a few reasons. First, it features tons of good Portland bands who's songs are mixed together really well, or outright remixed by the DJs themselves. Second, the intro has a sample from a song by Portland rapper Cool Nutz that I listened to back in high School. Also, E*Rock is a swell guy and has been doing great and creative DIY art and music here in Portland for the last 10 years, such as running the Audio Dregs record label, producing records, and making digital animation that is completely psychedelic and bonkers (Also, it's dumb to name drop but his brother is in Ratatat, and yes I am dum.)
